Pag, the island of salt, cheese and lace, is one of the largest, but also the most diverse, islands in Croatia, stretching parallel to the Dinarides, with a length of 60 km. Known as the island of lunar landscapes, Pag is dotted with hundreds of kilometers of dry stone walls. It is widely known for the oldest olive groves in the northern part of the Adriatic, salt pans, spacious bays, steep rocks, but also pastures, and above all for Paško cheese, an excellent specialty of Paško shepherds.
